FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

MusiCares maintains a special fund for music people who 
find themselves in need of rent, utilities, medical assistance, 
HIV and substance-abuse treatment. We are currently awarding 
grants to eligible individuals for these and other critical health 
and living needs. All matters concerning grant application for 
the release of funds are private and confidential.

DIRECTORY OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Many musicians are eligible for insurance and services 
through a Union or Foundation and are unfortunately not 
aware of it. Many times, in crisis, musicians may call their 
Union only to discover they have fallen out of the eligibility 
criteria and have NO insurance. MusiCares has compiled and makes 
available a booklet which lists every Union and Foundation's purpose, 
their contact numbers in all cities, eligibility requirements 
and services to the entire music industry.
